One of the advantages of allthis snow is that it creates time for crafting! A couple of days ago I created my first post Christmas card and thought that it would be nice to think of flowers, fruit and warm weather, so here are the results. I don't know how long this 'cute' period will last but, at the moment, I'm still enjoying making these very feminine creations. My daughter gave me some more Magnolia stamps for my combined birthday and Christmas present and, because she didn't know when to stop, I even have a very early Mother's day present! So it seems as though there'll be a few more of this type of card being posted up here.
So that you can all see the card more clearly this time, I've discovered how to turn off the flash on the camera and I've been carrying out other investigations about how to improve the images so things could get better around here. The shading in the colouring (done with Copics, as usual) is not very clear but I hope you like it.
I'm an addicted crafter who enjoys all forms of craft but I mainly spend what time and money I have on card making. A sixty something year old Mum of two and Granny to six. Married for the second time around to Brian, my teenage sweetheart and living very happily in West Yorkshire, UK where I settled eight years ago.
I'm also an Accredited Crafter's Companion Demonstrator. Please contact me for further info.
