It's all in the eyes!

Good afternoon, peeps!

Isn't it good to have a taste of Summer for a change - long may it last I say!

Here is something a little different from the projects I've been showing you recently but I'm teaching this card at workshops for Samuel Taylor.  The first one is at the Brighouse store on Saturday 8 June and the next one is at the Roseville Street, Leeds store on Tuesday 18 June.

I really love the images from Saturated Canary - the huge eyes that Krista draws into her images are just captivating!  The brief was also to produce a pop-up card and here's the result.  First the front of the card:

and on the inside....

The idea for this card came from the talented Norma but I messed with the measurements a bit to fit in the images I wanted to use and the designer papers are from Basic Grey and Echo Park.  I've also used dies from Memory Box and Marianne.

The images were coloured with Copics and the sentiment is a Stampendous image called 'Happy Swirl'.

Thank you for looking today and if you're able to book for a workshop, please just follow the link for Samuel Taylor for contact info.

Santa Baby

Good morning, peeps!  I hope you're starting out on a fabby weekend and I thought I'd pop in again and show you a further sneaky peek at Sheena's new 'A Little Bit Festive' range.  I love this little chap - he's mega cute!

There he is in his Santa hat ripping open his prezzie without even taking the ribbon off - typical don't you think!  It reminds me of a few Christmas mornings I can tell ya!

You will have already guessed that he's coloured with Copics and Prismas, this time with a little help from Tea Green Promarker, which I find indispensable when using the Copic BG70, BG72, BG75 combination.  I cut out the image with a Labels 23 Nestie and mounted it on Stampin' Up Baja Breeze card.  The Ho, ho, ho banner was created from a stamp that is part of the same stamp plate.

I'm sorry that I can't remember who made the lovely DP that has a little touch of sparkle but it was in the box left over from last year.  The pine branches were cut with a Memory Box die, which I think was part of last year's releases but I can't find it on a site to be able to give you a link.  Anyhoo, it's a very useful die to have for the festive season.

I still have some more peeks to show you before the launch on C & C on Monday at 9.00 p.m. followed by further shows on Tuesday at 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. so don't forget to tune in to see the lovely Sheena demonstrating these new stamps and other products.

Thank you for looking today and I'll see you soon!

Bonjour mes amis!

Or in other words, good morning, peeps! ..... and what's the reason for this O Level French I'm sure you're asking yourself?  Well it's to give you a little sneeky peek of the treat that's awaiting you at the weekend when Sheena appears on Create and Craft TV to launch the latest wonderful stamp plates that she's created.
Here's just one morsel to delight your palettes and I'm sure I'll be tempting you with a few more delicacies as the week progresses:

This only shows a couple of the images and one of the sentiments and there are two inspiring A5 plates with loadsa individual stamps on them - you know how generous Sheena always is with the images!

Anyhoo, I'll be back with more to show you soon.  The tree, by the way, is a Memory Box die called 'Orchard Tree Frame' and the DP is Melissa Frances.
